The park at Raymond Terrace was dismantled in 1997. However, Port Stephens Council has a new Skate Park Strategy and has just begun construction of a regional skate park at Raymond Terrace to cost in excess of $120,000. Check the plans (courtesy of Brad) !

kiaks : on a more detailed note... the park is just a normal prefab park.. ( 2 quarters, 2 roll ins, a box, a hump, 2 manual pads and a rail inbetween the hump and box) an upside is there is a shitload of flat area and a downside to that is that theres ALWAYS broken glass and other stuff around.... on an average day theres like 4 or 5 skaters... no local skate shop (theres surf shops but they are shit) and ummm its right next to a shopping centre

John Graham : I designed this skatepark origionally and i can tell you that the park thats there is nothing compared to the above design. it was supposed to be a massive park, but someone came along and downgraded my design to the the embarrisment that is currently under water in raymond terrace.
